Cure A Slide In The Golf Swing

In this tip, I talk about how to cure the slide in your golf swing. If your hips are going sideways and not turning in a circular motion then you have a slide. This is one of the toughest moves to get away from in the golf swing. If you do not turn in a circular motion not only can this cause back and knee problems but it can make your shots go way off to the right or big hooks.

By thinking of your left knee going straight back on the downswing or your hips turning in a circular motion is the start to getting rid of the slide. The lateral slide on the golf swing can also be eliminated by putting something, such as a shaft or chair, about three inched in front of your front hip and miss touching this object when hitting shots. These are some of the ways that can help curing this.
